It was during the Loksabha Elections – 2019 that Jeep India took the road less travelled to help the Indian Citizens, who live in the remotest of areas and face hurdles of inaccessibility due to tough terrain and lack of transport, turn up to vote for the first time ever.
In keeping with its mantra of 'Go anywhere. Do anything', Jeep Compass mapped out some of the most inaccessible areas for voters based on distance, landscape and accessibility, and identified villages whose inhabitants were yet to vote in full capacity owing to the long and difficult walk to the nearest polling booth that was at least 10 kms away.
